Almost every day, in fact. I want to throw towel and call it a day.
Not all time, of course, but there are period.

My guess is that you have those thoughts, too.
If you're the type like me who ambitious, goal-oriented person...
You will frustrated if running into stagnant moment.

Sure, you're probably going to convince yourself, it's okay to fail now. Because maybe someday you gonna be success.

But, sometime you want to give up. And never look back.
Maybe, you think.
Be average Joe is not bad.

The truth is?

No, it’s not.

Most of the time, we deal with the obstacles by persevering.

Sometimes we get discouraged and turn to inspirational writing, like stuff from positive medium writers.

  • “How to Make Someone Feel Extraordinary by Saying Very Little” by Barry Davret
  • “A comforting thought amid the holiday prep stress” by Cari Nazeer
  • “6 Reasons Why Your Best Days Are Still Ahead” by Laine Kaleja
  • “Real Forgiveness Is the Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Had to Do” by Tim Denning

My bet is that you turn on your inspirational music, your jam in spotify.
And try to remember what your accomplished things you do in one years back.

And hey, actually it's pretty good.
The point is you still endure everything.
You work hard and struggle to point sometime you will burn out.

And see?
You did it.
You build system immune to fight and withstand bad days.
You get badge from persevering.

Most people quit. They just don’t quit successfully.

Author Seth Godin in The Dip says,

In fact, many professions and many marketplaces profit from quitters—society assumes you’re going to quit. In fact, businesses and organizations count on it.

If you learn about the systems that have been put in place that encourage quitting, you’ll be more likely to beat them. And once you understand the common sinkhole that trips up so many people (I call it the Dip), you’ll be one step closer to getting through it.

Extraordinary benefits accrue to the tiny minority of people who are able to push just a tiny bit longer than most.
Extraordinary benefits also accrue to the tiny majority with the guts to quit early and refocus their efforts on something new.

In both cases, it’s about being the best in the world. About getting through the hard stuff and coming out on the other side.

Quit the wrong stuff.

Stick with the right stuff.

Have the guts to do one or the other.

Why we feel helpless

It’s hard to feel sorry for the horrible days you going to meet.
Because, the fact is other people have their problems too. Even if they're not going to share it in their social media account.

Modern people suffering in silence.
So much it can lead to suicide.

We want society to look us with positive image.
The successful person with beautiful wife, smart kids, and stable income.

We don't like to feel ordinary.
We want to be popular.
We want to interviewed by CNN. And get into Forbes.

It's what society told you.
Make account in Tik Tok, give your value in YouTube.
Be useful... And you will be happy.
Is it?

After all, came the truth.
Crashing down and broken your armor.

"But, I felt so tired.
I don't want to compete anymore."

One days, two days, you feels like you assume you take the right path.

No more competition.
No more hustle.
Not gonna look back anymore.

But when you look at the chart of revenue influencer in Instagram.

You’ve read Kim Kardashian’s net worh, this isn’t news for you.

She very rich.
And you want privilege like her. So you don't suffer again in 9-5 jobs who make you like a shit.

So, you back into the game.

The game name 'hustle'

Maybe now will different from the last.
The reason why the goal and mindset matters

We don’t have a lot of time.
We will die someday.
So, we take a lot of risks.
If you’ve been diagnosed with brain cancer, you’re not going to mess around by going to a lot of doctors. You’re going to head straight for the “top guy,” the person who’s ranked the best in the world. Why screw around if you get only one chance?

When you visit a new town, are you the sort of person who wants to visit a typical restaurant, or do you ask the google for the best place?

When you’re hiring someone for your team, do you ask your admin to give you the average resume, or do you ask him to screen out all but the very best qualified people?

So, maybe this time will be different if you aim to be the best version of you.

Hustle with plan.
Hustle with motives to up value people in your community.

Do it with courage.
And stick with your beliefs until end.

Then, you can find your purpose.... hopefully.

Good luck.
